Artist's Comments

THis goes with the desert speed painting I posted earlier. THe perspective on the city could of been worked out nicer but I didnt want to use guides so I winged it. Overall I think it's a pretty good render of what I imagined in my head.

No ref.

wow that's some amazing work for only 2 hours man. I think the detail and lighting on the city dome came out excellent.

i love it chris. beautiful job. i really like the ship for some reason. maybe because of the way its painted in motion. anyhow, a job well done overall.

Nice, the colors you used are awesome. The perspective on the city does look a little skewed but still cool. The ship reminds me of SLAVE II.

Really great work once again, i understand that its all timed ect... ect... but something that could be changed slightly are the clouds, two thing you do excellently already are spaceships, and blurs, try re-arranging your time so as to put alittle more of it into cloud detail, in particular as the clouds get further and further away from the light...shadows always tend to get more detailed the further away they are from the sun. You didnt need to put too much time into the floating city, though the reflection on its right side is really a nice touch, but its seems over-detailed in comparison to the rest of the image, the piece is excellent, and rightly deserves a +fav, I just throw in suggestion, anyways awesome job.

Hmm, I can't draw that well if I used a month. And you make during a speedpaint session. I'm impressed!
