Artist's Comments

So Painter 9, pretty much just the pen-stratchboard tool the whole way through. At the end I used the glow brush to add a shine to the building. 40 minutes. It would be 30 minutes but I painted a spaceship at the top right and then at the end I painted over it because it took to much attention away from the building.

. If you want to see all my other new paintings go to [link] . I upload much more there. alright later.

I really like how you put all the detail on the building and left the mountains pretty plain. Awesome paiting. I would love to see a price on the print.

This is quite a piece of work! It reminds me of the scifi book covers from the 60s-early 80s. What would really make this painting a lot more interesting would be a more finely detailed foreground and a bit of atmospheric perspective instead of blur. Bring the entire image into focus, but mute the color a tad bit the farther back you go. I'd love to see more of this particular kinda work (monstrously large tech objects just plopped onto a beautiful scene)!

The building looks like Antifans style. Nice work :-)

Very nice scenen, although the textures came a bit too sketchy on this one...

Love your sci-fi speed paintings. You should go for a more detailed one. I know I would love it. :D

excellent, the most foreground mountain's shadow is just so superb i could stare into it, the city is well structured, although i think on the circular part in its back left could have a bit more shading, the top right of the foreground mountain seems to be overalpped with a purple shade that continues onto the mountain behind it, i think that purple works fine there, but you should change its tone so it there is a little more contrast between the two mountains (but its still great as is), the ship is a nice touch, and the landscape is pretty cool, great work man
