I finally got this back from my schools art show. This was created last month for three point perspective practice. Yes, I know about the perspective problems ( I looked at the artwork in a mirror). fun fun.
- artwork details -
tools used - Charcoal , white charcoal, blenders, ( photoshop and painter 8 for lighting enhancement).
paper size - 18 x 24 white paper
Time it took : 12 hours for the drawing + 2 hours for the lighting on computer = 14 hours
Photoshop image size = 9000 x 7000
I might put a print up.
Enjoy.

oh yea, I won a prize for my artwork Hope. I have Hope ( my only digital print ) , "Night life" , and "Above all" in the art show. I'm suppose to get 50 dollers but they have yet to give it to me. Grrr.
Wow! Great work on this Chris. I love its dark feeling, it almost gives me an anticipation emotion.
But yea your perspection is off a bit but I like it with the imperfection, gives it that edge to make it seem more alive.
The lighting on the right side of the building is perfect, excellent work on that. The colors are also well done, the ships flames especially. They looks great.
With the ship design, im not that impressed, ive seen a lot better from you and its the detal you put into them is what I love. Im just not feeling it here.
OMG, I'm not on comment page #237423847237483264284 for ONCE, ... So yeah--that's just amazing coloring and lighting. Charcoal looks great to use... gotta use that soon... Just awesome, as always. ... I'll go fav after this fresh prince of belair rerun.. HILARIOUS
Thanks! Yea I wish I would of made the ships more detailed but I hate charcoal and couldnt work anymore because it was giving me a head ache. AH! When I do digital art I will be sure to make them all awesome looking.
